California Closing Day... Yay!

Well hello again! Today is the big day... we're closing on the house. Well, we, the buyers, are closing today... the actual closing date is Tuesday the 20th, but since we're doing all the signing from here in Cali, we have to go sign everything at a notary and then ship it back to the title company in Colorado so that the sellers can sign everything on Tuesday. Phew!

We're excited!!! As of next Tuesday we will be the proud owners of 5159 Morning Glory Place!!!

Next Friday, the 23rd, we'll fly back to CO and will take possession of that new fabulous home. Saturday we'll start our move by renting a u-haul and moving what we have stowed away in Colorado Springs, up into the new digs... including our guest room furniture so we can spend our very first night in the nuevo casa. Excellent.

This past weekend we enjoyed a wonderful weekend with the Colorado Rockies in San Diego. Fab. We caught 2 games, Friday and Saturday nights. We also were staying right downtown in the Gaslamp Quarter at the Omni San Diego Hotel (highly recommend!) which is literally attached to Petco Park! We could walk across a sky-bridge to get to the game and once we got our hands stamped we could come and go as we pleased! It was perfect for catching batting practice from 5-6pm, going back to the room for some wine and TV and then back to the park in time for the 7:00 game! Excellent. All the people in San Diego are great too. So nice. The people who sat in front of us at the game on Friday night actually invited us out to a pool party they were having on Saturday! HA! We also realized far too late, that they had called/texted us (yes, we scored some digits) after the game Friday night to hit a bar downtown with them! Drat! Oh well, it was still pretty cool! San Diego is a great place, I recommend everyone visit! Yay!
